Here is a great site to go to, you can play around on it, at your height,
desired weight, and a model will show you what you will look like (of
course none of the models need Tummy Tucks) but it is fun

Congratulations on your unpcoming surgery,

You are a lightweight like I was. I am 5'9" and started out at 268.
I am now four months post op down 92 pounds. I have gone from a size 24 to
a size 8. I don't really have any loose skin. My tummy is a little mushy
but I also have had four children.

hi, samantha/ I had surgery on 9/27/01/ (just had my one year
anniversary)/ I was 5'6" and weighed 258 lbs/ I am now 159 lbs, just
5 lbs from my Dr.'s goal for me and 13 lbs from my personal goal/ It is
true that "lightweights" lose a bit slower, but then again, we
don't have as much to lose, so it really evens out/ I am thrilled/ I
started out a size 20-22/ and I am now a size 8 and sometimes 6!! I wish
you the best/ patti meadows e-mail: [email protected]

Hi. I had my surgery on 3/18/02. I am 5'8" tall and started out at
284.5lbs. To date, I have lost 84lbs since surgery and feel pretty
confident that I can get to my personal goal of 164 by my 1 year
anniversary. I'm VERY big boned so 164 should be about a size 8 for me.
Even if I don't get to goal I am healthier, happier, and more energetic
than I was 6 and 1/2 months ago. Good luck to you!

I weighed 302 the day I came home from surgery (8-30-01). I now weigh 170
and have lost 132 pounds. Have gone from a size 26 to a size 8 and it has
changed my life--I feel fabulous, still may lose 10 pounds or so, but
really don't need to lose anything else. You will definitely make your
goal if you stick to the protein, work out, and drink your water---good
luck!

big boned and muscular. I started at 274 and a size 24. I am now 8 months

should put me into a size 10. I hope this helps.

Hey there!!! It feels so WONDERFUL to post this!!! I started at 283
offically but my highest was 292lbs. 91/2 months later I am at 160lbs.My
hight is 5'7. Iam a size 16/14. Even when I use to weigh 125 I was never
smaller than a 10. If I never lose another pound I would be ok because I
feel like a million bucks right now!!! Congrats to you on surgery
approval!!!!

I am 5'6.5" and started at 258lbs. Then I was approved for surgery and
had to go on a 2 week high protein diet pre-op, therefore losing 12 lbs.
weighing in at 246 on the morning of my surgery. It has been 3 months and
17days since my surgery(6/17) and I am down to 192lbs. I eat as I am told
and walk everyday even just a mile or around the mall! I am not making this
a chore just a new way of life. I love it. I started out wearing a 22/24
and am now in a size 14. I have small hips and legs, but a rather larger
mid section. I was like you too. I would not believe that it would happen
to me. I never thought I would wear my 14's again. Well, I am here and you
too will be someday. Keep smiling...it's an awesome trip!
