Question:
Anyone going through Fresno Valley Surgical Specialists

I've spoken with some people that have gone through Fresno Valley Surgical Specialists, but I was wondering if there is anyone else recently going through the process of getting approved, and getting surgery. Hi there, I am 11 weeks out from having surgery with Dr. Higa at Valley Surgical. They are really great. The process I went through was 1st attending the mandatory educational seminar, then an initial consult with the dr and nurse practitioner. Then they require a psych eval and a nutritional consult. Of course that varies depending on what insurance you have. I had Pacific Care HMO. The only screening I went through right prior to surgery was an ekg and blood work.
