Question:
My incision has been draining for 2 months!

My Incision started draining week 3 after surgery, and is still going. It is a lot better but, I would like to know when this could possibly stop?? Today I had to go see my Doc because one part of the incision began to swell. She had to cut it opened and dig a stitch out that hadn't desolved. That is the 6th stitch that didn't disolve and came out. Did anyone else have this problem? Mine drained for 4 or 5 months, i put hydrogen peroxide on it twice a day and it seemed to help it heal faster once i did that and kept it from getting infected. It just has to heal from the inside to out.

your problem could be a staff infection or mrsa this is a germ that comes mainly from hospitals and nursing homes the thing is something they dont tell or like to admit to it can very easily tested by swabing the infected area it taken care of with antibotics and cream to the area
