Question:
I have tricare prime, I am wanting a ttand breast lift....

Does any one know what the criteria is to get these surgerys authorized? When I called to precert dept the said the the fact that I had the surgery and havd lost that much weight it would be authorized no problem. That seems to easy...Am I needing a certain size pannus past your pelvic. Documented rash? For how long? With what medication? Does it have to be a prescription? Back problems??? Tricare will not pay for a lift, I am having to get a reduction instead. As for the Tummy tuck... I was told that it has to be medically necassary such as brak down of the abdominal wall, severe rashes, etc... If you hear anything else let me know as I too am in the process of trying to get approved for a tummy tuck and reduction by tricare
