Question:
Know anything about making HAP pay?

I had heard that HAP was involved in some kind of lawsuit that would make them pay for wls. Any one heard anything? I have HAP HMO and am in appeals anything you know might help    — Amy G. (posted on March 1, 2002)

HAP (Health Alliance Plan) is now paying for WLS. There is a $1000.00 co-pay. Requirements are a BMI of 40 or more OR less that 40 with two co-morbities (diabetes, sleep apnea, hypertension, hyperlipodemia). Check with the company for specifics.
