Question:
I am 4 months post op DS. I have had no problems

other than an early plateau. This morning when I woke up I vomited a small amout, first time, of undigested food in what looked like old bloody mucus. No pain and no further episodes. Is this a fluke or a problem? While taking iron it is difficult to tell if there is blood in the stool,so I don't know what other symptoms of bleeding there would be. If it happens again or you experience pain, I'd call the surgeon immediately.
