Question:
What do I eat at 7 weeks Post-Op
I need a list of food to eat. I have eaten my fair share but need some other ideas I can try from other 7 week post ops. Any ideas please? Had my offline wls support group gathering yesterday and I had a tiny lemon pepper chicken wing, 1 tsp. potato salad and 2 tsp. baked beans. Yummy, but don't know what made me feel ill though. I say the baked beans because 2 hours later I had another chicken wing and no problem. And when I got home hours later, I had another tsp. potato salad and a couple tsp. baked beans and I felt ill again. well, I guess it could have been the potato salad too, huh? — Denise S. I'm six weeks post-op and was just taken off puree. The doc told me to
take it slowly and cut my bites into pinky nail size pieces. Believe it or
not, one of the things I've really enjoyed is Lean Cuisine baked chicken
with mashed potatoes and dressing. I don't eat the dressing (my dogs love
me, lol!) I eat the chicken first and I always have enough left for a
second meal. I've been eating tuna salad on crackers, scrambled eggs with
cheese added. I even eat a small bowl of cereal, but this is my experience
only. I think everyone has individual quirks. No sugar added Carnation
Instant Breakfast, for instance, makes me ill.
