Question:
How long does Pacific Bariatric usually take to schedual surgery?

Once you have been approved by insurance and done all pre-op tests, how long is the wait for the actual surgery date? The other two places I have checked out have six month waiting list! I can't believe it. I am excited to get the surgery done and the sooner the better.    — M. S. (posted on December 16, 2001)

You can check my profile to be sure; but I think I waited seven days after approval to be scheduled. I have only GREAT things to say about PB, they did a great job with me! Congratulations and best of luck to you. Open RNY 7/17/01.

I believe I waited 7 days for them to call back and schedule my surgery. My whole process went very fast. From the time I went to their seminar till the date of my surgery was only 3months 2 weeks. I have nothing but respect and wondeful things to say about Pacific Bariatrics and their entire staff.

I too am hoping to have surgery with PB and when I called them last month to find out how far out they are scheduling I was told that the people who are approved NOW are being scheduled for February and March. She also did tell me that they do have a waiting list so that if somebody cancels and you on the waiting list you could get in sooner..not sure how long the waiting list is though. Good Luck
