Does Aetna US Healthcare Pay for the first visit to the surgeon?

Yes, as long as you have a referral from your PCP and the surgeon is a
participating doctor. Good luck!

Do check with your plan with Aetna, but yes mine was covered with a co-pay
for a specialist which was $25. Actually with my Open Choice plan with
Aetna I didn't hve to have a PCP referral if it was a specialist who took
Aetna. They approved within one week. Good Luck!

Yes Aetna USHC paid for my initial consultation excluding the $15 copay.
That's about how much my entire operation cost. I never paid a dollar to
the hospital. All this for $15! I have the HMO plan.

I have Aetna EPO, and didn't need a referral from my PCP. I guess all plans
are different...
