Hi Cindy,
Didn't know if this was the one you were talking about or not...but, I
thought it was worth a try if it was. God bless...love, Terri
**********************************************************
The 3 day diet....by the American Heart Association! <well,
maybe....>
DAY ONE
Breakfast
1/2 Grapefruit or Juice
1 slice toast
2 teaspoons peanut butter
Black coffee or tea (no sugar or cream)
Lunch
1/2 cup tuna or chicken
1 slice toast or cheese
Black coffee or tea or diet soda
Dinner
2 slices any type meat(3 oz.)
or small steak broiled
1 cup string beans or greens (for those not from the south...these are
turnip greens)
1 cup beets or carrots
1 small apple
1 cup vanilla ice cream
DAY TWO
Breakfast
1 egg
1/2 banana
1 slice toast
black coffee or tea
Lunch
1 cup cottage cheese or 1/2 cup tuna
5 saltine crackers
diet soft drink
Dinner
2 hot dogs
1 cup broccoli or cabbage
1/2 cup carrots or turnips
1/2 banana
1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
DAY THREE
Breakfast
5 saltine crackers
1 slice cheddar cheese
1 small apple
black coffee or tea
Lunch
1 hard boiled egg
1 slice toast
1/2 cup tuna
diet soft drink
Dinner
1 cup tuna or chicken breast or turkey
1 cup beets or carrots
1 cup cauliflower or greens
1/2 canteloupe or 1 banana
1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
With this diet you could lose 10 pounds in three days. It does work. But
you MUST NOT snack between meals and only have diet drinks (that means no
sugar what so ever). This diet works on chemical breakdown so you must not
substitute any foods.
From my own experience...I have substituted green beans for broccoli, and
green beans for cauliflower or greens...as I abhor these veggies. I also
hate *with a passion* beets, so I always eat the carrots. I have used this
diet before and have lost weight with it {as have other members of my
family} but, if you do decide to substitute any foods or add a little
mayo/must with tuna, be prepared to lose a little less than the 10 pounds
you could lose.
Good Luck Cindy with whatever you decide to do...I had the bpd/ds *open* on
October 12, 2000. I am only 17 pounds away from my goal weight..talk to
you later...Terri
