Question:
I am pleased with my weight loss, very happy but my face is so wrinkled now..Anyone
found anything that works? Anyone had a face lift? If so, how much? thank you in advance. — Kathy S. (posted on May 17, 2005)

Hi Kathy,
I use a Retinol product by Loreal which really helped the lines around my
eyes, but the jowls are another story. I do have to say that after your
weight stabilizes for a year or so, things do look better. You lose that
"gaunt" look, but I'm still saggy!

I had a neck/lower face/mid face/lower eyelid lift/tummy tuck on April
12th. My face is still swollen and my eyes and ears still hurt a little.
I was told it takes three months for swelling and six months for healing.
My total was $18,000 and I was self pay. The face and eyes were around
$12,000. I wasn't very wrinkled, but I did have the jowls. I am very
happy with the results.

The only plastics I had was on my face. I had the turkey triple chin and
really bad sagging. The surgeon took off 6 inches of skin on my face. I am
disappointed as it has almost been a year and the skin is sagging again but
no where near as bad. Good news is I can get a revision for free. My lift
cost $5000. I am 54yo combined with the stretched skin I think that is why
I need a revision.

No Plastics here and I know this sounds funny but it is helping. You know
the funny faces that men make wahile shaving? If you do that 3 times a day
it helps tone and lift. That is why most men do not have saggy chins and
necks. Just my 2 cents
