Question:
Need a new Dr...please help!!!
I had the surgery 18 months ago and I know there is something not right now. I am unwilling to go back where I had it performed due to terrible patient care. kack of feeling. Misdiagnosed infections..so many things...and the surgeons made me beleive it was in my head but it turned out it was physical...I need help...Does anyone know if another surgeon or facility will take over a patiens's care even if they did not perform it? Seems like such a wast to have gone all through this and cannot get help now. I know you can have revisions incast the puch stretched or other reason for gaining weight back.. I have gained 10 lbs in the last or so and I feel hungry all the time..Please, someone help me! — ANJI M. (posted on March 26, 2004)

I do not know where you are but I do know that there is someone who can
help you. Have you tried your primary care physician? If you don't have
one, and you do not feel you can go back to your surgeon, then look around
and find one. Then they could request your records from your surgeon and
hospital where you had the surgery done and figure out what is really going
on with you. I was the office manager at a general practice doctors office
for 12 years and from my experience if you feel like there is something
wrong the there more than likely is. I hope this helps you. Good Luck.

Anji, your profile is not available and you do not mention where you live.
We can't suggest dr.s to you without knowing which area of the country you
live in. If I suggest my surgeon (here in Houston) and you live in New York
or California, etc, that doesn't do you much good!
