Question:
I'm so silly. Why did I buy these??
I've been making my shopping list for surgery for months. A couple of times I've seen some suggest buying Mens A-line tshirts. So, I bought them....now can someone tell me why? Do I wear one under my gown?? I'm having surgery Monday guys!!! Thanks for your encouraging emails! — Kimberly J. (posted on July 17, 2003)

Some people like to wear a t-shirt under the binder after surgery as many
develop skin rashes from the material of the binder. Another reason might
be that the shirt would be comfy and loose (if you bought it larger than
normal) so very comfortable to wear after surgery.

Some women wear then since a bra is too uncomfortable, just as a sort of
modesty measure.

I was quite attractive at home those first several days...walking around in
my fashionable colored A-line tshirts(no bra) and baggy shorts that I had
pulled down under my waistline. Bloated belly (I had LAP RNY) and that
outfit, I looked like a drunken old man who tied one on the night before
(especially when trying to do the walking while under the influence of pain
meds). heehee - Anna
