Question:
Can I drink sugar free kool aide post op..I use it now to get my water in?

Hey there. To my knowledge all Kool Aid is sugar free. However I personally add 18 packets of Equal to a pitcher of Kool Aid and it tastes great!

I drink 64 oz. of sugarfree Koolaid a day this is how I get my proteins in too. I had a hard time stomaching the thick chalky drinks so my surgeon reccommended Amino Acids2222 you can get it at the GNC store I mix 4 Tbls. into the 32 oz. containers and I get 222 grams of protein in per 32 oz. drink. Try using Splenda instead of opening all those Equal packages. It measures out the same as regular sugar. Easier also.

Hey Jen calls me a grape ape. I love sugar free grape koolaid. I was good right after surgery during ketosis. It covered the YUK taste oif water. Its great and is meets your water requirements.

HEY, I AM 3 MONTHS POST-OP AND CAN'T STAND TO DRINK WATER ANYMORE EITHER. I JUST FOUND A NEW PRODUCT THOUGH THAT YOU MIGHT WANT TO TRY IT IS CALLED AQUACAL, IT IS AT 7-11 AND COMES IN THE SMALL SIZE WATER BOTTLES. IT IS FLAVORED WATER AND HAS ZERO CALORIES AND IS SUGAR-FREE TOO. IT IS WONDERFUL, SO YOU MIGHT WANT TO TRY THAT, NO CARBONATION AND IT HAS CALCIUM IN IT. GOOD LUCK.
