Does anyone have any information on NuWay pros/cons
It's some kind of program that works with you on getting your surgury if you quaify. Has any one had experience? Pros and cons — tracey71 (posted on April 7, 2003)

Tracy,
I used Neweigh and had no problem. They handled all the paper work and
dealt with the insurance company. They are very busy but always felt I was
given fair time.
I am 8 months post-op and have lost 96 lbs. I was considered a light weight
at 266 and 5'7''. I had lab work results today and had excellent report,
cholesterol is 131.
Good Luck!!! Any questions feel free to e-mail me.

Hi, Neweigh has been in operation in Houston for at least 9 years that I
know of. They have helped a lot of people get approved for surgery and they
are pretty good with aftercare support meetings. I know they just recently
opened an office in Louisiana, but it is run by the same people and they do
a really good job. I am sure they are contracted with different surgeons
there in La. so you will have to do your research on those particular docs.
Good luck.

I went through the Houston office and loved it. They are all so supportive,
most of them have had the surgery. They have an aftercare program for all
stages of post ops. They handled everything with my insurance co. I was
approved in 2 weeks.

Tracey,
I live in Beaumont Texas and went to the NeWeigh in Houston. They are
GREAT! I have never been treated so good in all my life. My surgery is
set for 04-29-03. They have handled everything and I have no worries at
all. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate them a 10. Tks, Melony
