Question:
Does Anyone know of a good PCP that is located in Las Vegas, NV

Hi there, I'm 10 months out post op Open RYN, I'm down a total of 127 pounds, weight loss wise I'm doing Great, How-ever PCP Primary Care Physician I'm doing terrible, I've gone threw 2 within the last 4 months, I'm finding that the doctor's are either not educated in regards to WLS patients, and I'm doing all the leg work and follow up, Or they're educated in the aspect( Even had the surgery themselves) , how-ever no respect for their patients time, or their office staff don't have a clue, ( They're all under 17 years old, Must have been a buy one get one free ... Very un-organized office. ( I waited for a doctor in the waiting room for 2 hours before being seen on a set 1st am appointment) , Needless to say I'm not a happy camper. I just had my blood work drawn and my iron levels are running low, my b12 and folate are threw the roof. I'm taking all my vitamins how-ever something is just not right..... I live on the West side of Las Vegas, and would love to find a knowledgable doctor in which I can go to. One that is semi close, has a well organized staff and has some respect for their patients. I've used Dr. Steven Lampinen for several years. He just built a new office building. I believe it is close to UMC. He has several WLS patients and every one I've talked to likes his service. I've referred him to several non WLS people too. They all seem to like him.

I agree with prev poster, try dr lampo dang cant spell his last name to save my life so i shortened it lol actually its steven lampenin or lampinen anyways i have been seeing him for several years and just love him to peices...try him out!

Hi Dawn, I see Dr Carolyn McKelvie. I really liked her and she was very supportive of WLS surgery and can help with aftercare issues. She is located right behind UMC on Goldring. I will warn you.....her office is very busy, and you usually have to wait a bit, but she is well worth the wait, I am very happy with her. If you want her number or address...just let me know!!!!!
