Question:
What is the Out Of Pocket Cost for Weight Loss Surgery?
I have insurance that covers 80% of the Surgeon's cost, up to $2110. I need to know what to put away in tax-free medical savings. I am particularly interested in the answer from people in Northern Virginia. — Beth S. (posted on December 2, 2002)

It depends on if you have a maximum out of pocket amount with your
insurance. Mine was only covered at 80% but I had a maximum out of pocket
of $1800 for the year, so that was all I had to pay.
