Question:
what do i do if my insurance company doesn't want to pay after surgary?

Before surgary i was approved by my insurance BC/BS NY. Now they are denieing it because they say it was pre-ex. condition. can anyone help? what do i do ?    — Hila C. (posted on November 23, 2002)

Can you get your provider to appeal for you? You do need to appeal as this is an odd response after you had been pre-approved. I certainly would fight this big time! Good Luck!
