Linda:
Dr. Titus Duncan is the only bariatric surgeon in the state of Ga that
performs the wls on folks with medicare. you just have to sign some type
of sheet stating that you will pay if the medicare doesn't.
He also does the laparascopic surgery. He has performed it on one man
laparascopically who weighed around 600 lbs.
So, your body mass doesn't matter to all doctors. I used Dr. Masik and I
was at 608 lbs. when I had my surgery in May of 2001. Now I'm down to 385.
I only have around 185 lbs to go to reach my personal goal.
Hope I have helped you.
