Question:
Does anyone know about the Cigna POS criteria?

I am switching to Cigna POS October 1st, 2002. I have heard horrible stories about needed to meet a past diet criteria, psyche testing, cardiology tests. I am in Texas, I have a BMI of 40.3.    — Sherry Y. (posted on August 30, 2002)

I had cigna pos when i had the surgery, my past diet history was recorded as everytime I went to the doctor they would weigh me, and ask what I was doin to lose weight, cigna okayed that, they also covered me seeing a psychologist, and they covered the surgery 100%, nothingout of my pocket except the 10.00 copays to see the docs....goodluck! By the way, they didn't deny me at all, but remember to bother them once the paperwork is sent to them. It(somehow) got to them 3 weeks after my doc sent it to them, then another week for reveiw. I don't know your situation, but I weighed 382, 6ft tall, had type 2 diabetes, and I am in michigan. I don't know if that makes a difference or not,,,again good luck!
