A nutritionist I spoke to earlier this week said the goal should be to get to 1200 calories. I have never heard a doctor recommend anything less than 1000 calories. Losing 2 pounds a week is what my doctor told me to expect. Losing much faster than that is not healthy. Eat protein first of course. I just found ProScore 100 in chocolate to be an excellent protein shake. I've tried them all, but this one is just yummy. You can order a sample of it at VitaLady.com--it was worth it! I also know people that even though they had the surgery, they are now in the weight watcher program to help them continue the weight loss. It helps them stay motivated and on track. Also, remember to still chew your food really well, it will help you feel full faster, and you'll be less likely to overeat. Good luck---just focus and think positive!

hi, ive lost about 100 lbs..altogether. I am down to 175. But i can eat a C..load of food. I can eat about 1500 cals a day if i dont watch it. So, i tt my dr and she said, you can go up to as high as 1500 but keep in mind you MUST exercise or you will gain, and.....the more you eat THE SLOWER IT COMES OFF. So water, exercise and eating right is a must. Protein first. Hang in there. It gts to be a struggle because you DO GET HUNGRY AGAIN. I can eat up to 2 cups a meal and i think thats tooooo much. But thats what ive settled at. Good luck and God bless.
