HI SWEETIE, I ALSO SUFFER FROM BI-POLAR, I HAVE HAD THIS FOR 12 YEARS NOW.
NO IT WILL NOT STOP YOU FROM HAVING SURGERY. ALOT OF US HAVE THIS CONDITION
BECAUSE OF OUR BEING OVER WEIGHT, AND I M PRAYING THAT LOSING THIS WEIGHT
WILL HELP WITH THE DEPRESSION. A DOCTOR CAN NOT DENIE YOU JUST BECAUSE YOUR
DEPRESSED. IF YOU WANT TO CHAT, PLEASE EMAIL ME.

The only thing that will hurt you is if you have a history of going off
your meds. With the psych eval, they want to be sure you can follow a
plan. If we all had to be free of mental disease, there wouldn't be too
many folks that qualified for surgery, even the ones that think they have
no problems. LOL
