Question:
Dose any one know a cigna ppo doctor that is in network and does the Lap-band surgery

I have also tried finding a LAP Surgeon doing RNY and in Cigna network. I had a difficult time so I am going with the Open RNY. Good luck on your journey.

Hi Tracey, Just thought I would let you know about Dr. Steven E. Olchowski in Wilmington, NC. He takes Cigna. He also does the Lap Band that you are interesting in. I have Cigna HMO. I seen him on 1/16/02 (waited 3 months to see him he is very busy). Cigna aprroved my Lap Rny in a months time. My sugery date is 7/5/02. His number is 910-763-6571. GOOD LUCK!:)

Hi Tracey:) This contact maybe getting to you alittle to late , but here it goes...Are you talking about the ajustable gastric banding (AGB). If so there is a Dr in Nashville named Dr Carles E. Morton and he is network with Cigna PPO. I know the travling distance might be an issue but it might be a solution if you can't find anyone in the area. Dr. Morton is giving a seminar Nov-14th-2002. He requires you to attend a seminar before the first consult!! Hope this helps! -L
