I am sorry I dont have an answer, but 1984?? Awesome! You should really
think about doing a web page for all of us letting us know how things are
now after 17 years, even updating it here on this profile would be great.
There are so many questions about long term affects, and that life is short
lived after this surgery. You would be a great testimony to that cause. I
know I would surely appreciate it as well as others too. Good luck in
finding a revision, and please keep us posted on your profile. ~Angel~

These Yahoo groups should get you started:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/OSSG-Revision and
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DS_Revision.

My surgeon was part of the medical team who developed and had RNY endorsed
by NIH as a treatment for morbid obesity. He does both "virgin"
and revision surgeries, and I would recommend him highly if you can travel
to Alabama to one of the finest teaching and research hospitals in the
nation. John J. Gleysteen, MD, (205) 975-8750.

Hi Rod. I, too, would very much welcome your story about how life was and
is since your surgery. It may answer a lot of questions we have about
long-term results. (Only if you felt comfortable about sharing.) Thank
you.
