Question:
What about coloring your hair right before surgery?

I have colored my hair every three weeks since surgery...and I colored it two days before. No problems here. Also, since I am losing hair (drats) I was looking for something to help. Herbal Essences makes a Root Volume spray that is kick-butt!! I got it at Wal Mart -- keep in mind for that post-surgery shedding. Best of luck to you. Open RNY 7/17/01

I have been in the Beauty business since 1967, I see no reason you cannot color your hair now , or later. As long as your scalp is healthy. Good luck with your surgery.

I would do it! That way you will come out of surgery looking your best. Well, okay . . . maybe not your best, but your hair will be a great color. ;)
