Question:
I had my surgery on Thur., had my Foley catheter out on Fri., now today I am having

I had a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) very soon post-op. Foleys are notorious for causing UTIs...I also had a small problem with bowel control post-op..also a big offender to the urinary tract. See your doctor, he can "fix" this right up! Best of luck with your journey.

It could be an infection, or it could possibly be irritation from the catheter. Probably would be best to contact your doctor for an antibiotic. At this late date, it is more likely an infection. (A pretty common problem in women due to our short urethras; not necessarily anyone's "fault").
