Question:
I was told after my C-sections that my pouch would never tighten
I was told after my c-sections that the muscles where cut so I would always have a pouch. They could never tighten up. Has anyone that has had the gastric-by-pass had a c-section, and where you able to tone the pouch up. Are is a tummy tuck the only way? — Lori L. (posted on March 28, 2003)

On this website, usually POUCH means your new stomach pouch, not your
poochie abdomen that's left after C-sections or losing a great deal of
weight. So you may get some confused answers here!

Hi Lori: Joy is right, however, I think most of us can figure out what you
mean. I've had 3 C-sections and have quite a large hanging
"apron" (I think is the correct term). I'm 43; down 70 pounds
since November and have about 80 pounds to go. I'm expecting to have to
have abnomoplasty (or whatever it's called) even after this year's toning
and excercising. Great question! I'll check back to see what others say.
