Question:
Curves For Women's Costs.
Hi everyone! I am really considering joining Curves For Women soon. I know the monthly fee is $29. Is there an enrollment fee. And if there is--how much?? Thank You! LAP RNY 8/19/02 -86 lbs — Shavonne P. (posted on November 22, 2002)

I was reading some past questions and one of the ladies stated that it cost
about $100.00 to start then about $30.00 a month after that. She also said
that you have to commit to a 1 year membership. Sounds alot cheaper and
less intimadating than places like 24 hr fitness. I am going to look into
it. I will get back to you. JOANN

I joined Curves for Women, and there was a initial membership fee. At the
time I joined, they were running a 2 for 1 special, so I got to join for
1/2 price, which was about $50. Then $29 a month....no contract....

Shavonne, it is different everywhere...Curves in NYC is $249 intiation and
$71/month....I really liked it, but, too expensive for a room full or
equipment ONLY! I joined a fullservice gym for $66 month instead. Good
Luck!

I joined Curves today and I paid a $59 one-time registration fee and I have
until January 1st with no payment. After that it will be $29 per month.

Shavonne,
I have to agree with Heather's post, I too thought it was just to expensive
to join, The down of 159.00 and then about $49.00 a month, to just be
entitled to a room about the size of my bed room with about 5 actual
machines...
I went ahead and enrolled into 24 hour fitness and find it better then all
the rest, nope not intimidated more motovation then anything...... I've
been going every other day and can actually say that I have tone and
rippled muscles in my arms... Whoo Yooo , something I've never had before.
I believe the gyms like 24 hour fitness give you more of a combination of
muscle work-outs and also gives you the chance to challenge yourself, I
don't get bored. Plue it give me the opportunity to cool down, take a swim
and enjoy the sauna... Good luck,

Hi. They have specials all the time. I joined in Sept. They were waiving
the joining fees during breast cancer awareness month (hoping you'd spend
the money on a mammogram) At our Curves it' $49/mo=no min commitment/$39=1
ear commitment and if you pay all at once then you get 20% off of the
year.
I'd pay twice as much to go!!!!!!!!!!! I love it. It's the first time I've
EVER liked exerxise....and I lost 14" the first month!
