Question:
Did I get hit on???
Ok, I can't remember the last time a female actually approached me in a "romantic" way, but something happened this weekend that made me THINK! I had a booth at a city-wide garage sale this weekend. This lady comes up to me and just smiles (REALLY SMILES) and starts talking to me. Then later on she comes back and does it again. Then she sees my wife and IMMEDIATELY leaves! I mean she was gone in 2 seconds! Now I know it may be a figment of my imagination, but NO ONE ever came up to me pre-op and just started talking, especially with that big a smile on their face...especially women. Yup! Fun, huh! Just be careful...it is so easy to get caught up in that
stuff. This is JUST THE BEGINNING of getting hit on! The sad part? These
are the very same people who would not even look twice pre-op. Our egos are
fragile by the time we get the weight off. Enjoy from afar!

You sound like my husband! He had surgery April 30, and has lost 95 lbs.
He is very nice looking, and especially since he lost all the extra weight.
He says women are looking at him and smiling a lot now, even the YOUNG
ones! Enjoy it, but don't let it go too far! I am waiting until I have
success with my surgery, I am 5 weeks post op.

And I am sure you are a good and loyal husband, so enjoy the attention.
I have been experiencing the same thing lately. I am having to wear my
wedding ring on my right hand because it is too loose on the left, and I
only want to have it sized once. Last weekend my daughter actaully
suggested to her Dad he go ahead and buy me a new wedding band (with bigger
diamonds) because she is tired of strange men talking to me.
