Shavonne, I will be 3 wks post-op Thursday (8-15) and I have no desire to
eat. I force myself to do it. I do however, drink ALL DAY LONG! My dtr
says food isn't important no, but, liquids are. Be care not to dehydrate
yourself as I did. I was having a hard time quenching my thirst. I drink
water while walking, crytal light all day long or ice tea (decaff) and a
couple glasses of milk per day. I also make sugar free choc jellp
pudding...This adds 1 cup of milk....Good Luck! Try popsicles too.

I am almost 3 mths post-op and just found the lipton de=caff lemon and
honey tea. I make a large pitcher of that and that helps get the fluids
down. Also when I was just post-op water tasted funny to me. I was told
to put the water in a glass in ice, dump it out and then refill. Some
people say the ice taste funny from the ice makers. If did help, but I'm
not sure why. Good Luck, Sharon -61 lbs gone forever

You should be sipping all day long at this stage. Try hot caffeine free
tea, iced tea, crystal lite, watered down fruit juices and protein shakes,
along with water. I used to dilute crystal lite with water (too sweet for
me). Whatever it takes, get those liquids in...
