Question:
Make-up to minimize to newly showing
I guess maybe Carly Simons wrote that song for me... "Your so Vain!" Anyway, with the weight loss, the fine lines are starting to show in my face. Has anyone come across a make-up that really does minimize them?? Thank You!! 10 months post-op down 115# — chance2lv (posted on March 28, 2002)

Hi Karan, I am 5 1/2 months post op and just started noticing the same
thing. (I'm 47 and down 75lbs) I have seen results with Mary Kay Skin
Revival Seram & Cream, also eye cream. If you contact a Mary Kay
consultant they can help you with what you need. I know it is expensive but
I think I'm worth it. I will not grow old without a fight.

Hi... I am pre-op for surgery but at 51 also have those fine lines. I use
Clinique TurnAround Cream and it is fantastic. I asked about this though
at my surgeon's office as I know at 51 when I lose this weight, I will have
those lines and they really pushed the thought of drinking a lot of water
and protein as it really nourishes the skin. Another suggestion too is the
hair/skin/nails vitamins at GNC. My best to you.

Hi - I understand completely. I am a Mary Kay consultant and I have been
so pleased with the results. although I am an consultant, many people want
to find someone in their area, which is understandable. If you go to
www.marykay.com it will direct you to a local consultant.

I swear by Avon's Anew Retroactive. I have noticed a vast improvement in
the fine lines, and texture. I used to use Lacome Primordial, but the
Retroactive is MUCH BETTER! Cheaper too.

I swear by Oil of Olay Total Effects; there's one with a sunscreen for day
and without for night. I've bought all kinds of stuff and this is
absolutely the best. Sam's Club sells a much larger size than the
drugstore for a lot less, but it's still cheaper than department store
products and it works BETTER! Good luck!

I'm 49, still pre-op, but I know where you're coming from. I use Victoria
Principle's Principle Secret. I love it - everyone tells me I look 20
years younger than I am (although I think some of it is genetics - just
like the rest of my body). My pic is on my profile. I order it from QVC -
it's cheaper than off the info-mercial. -Margaret
