Question:
I am now 2 weeks post op and still have alot of gas and have to belch all the time I

seem to have so much gas in my stomach that I can't get in my required amount of fluids, I have tried mylicon and valuim with no help, any solutions, I dont want this to go on forever.    — Denise H. (posted on February 16, 2002)

Hi, I am also almost 2weeks post op. I have this terrible problem also. I called my physcians office and they said that it is normal post op and that it usually stops after 2-3weeks. My MD recommended Pepto Bismo. I have just been tolerating it. It has gotten better in the last two days.
