Question:
4 days post op and I cant tell what the feeling in my stomach is.

I feel a generalized ache, sometimes mild sometimes almost severe.Ihonestly cant tell whether it is just the pain of surgery, or if I'm feeling hungry, or if I drank too much and I'm actually too full.    — Stephanie H. (posted on January 18, 2002)

stephanie i had the same thing happen to me. i finally figured out that the more severe ache was the mild ache of surgery & the rest of it was hunger. at 4 1/2 weeks post op open rny/silastic band, i am able to tell immediately when its time to eat. good luck & happy new birthday!

Hi I'm 16 days post and I remember feeling a aching on my left side right under my breast on about day 3 or 4 I was still in the hospital I asked the nurse about it and she couldn't really say what it was but didn't act concerned. It would go away then come back for the next few days, then I went to get my staples and gtube out the next week and I haven't felt it since. So I'm not sure what it was but its gone now must of had something to do with the gtube. Janie
