Question:
Can anyone give me the good and bad about Lap Band?

Read my profile, the entire first part is about the band, and my desire to get it. Theres a yahoo bandsters group all about the band you should check. Typical weight loss isnt a great, and as another poster says there is no malasorbtion. Its less invasive and easily reversible. It possible downsides are the loss os ability to eat bread once the band is tightened and some folks vomit easily. My surgeon feels its a bad choice for the super morbidly obese and since my wife is one I decided we should have the same surgery and both had RNYs. This way our eating rules are similiar.
