The fact that you\'re exercising is wonderful! Don\'t worry if you think
it is \"too little\" now. Pretty soon you\'ll work up to more.
I started out slow working out at home, sometimes only 10 minutes, and now
I have joined a gym and do a 30 minute workout. Your ability and exercise
tolerance will increase. Any moving you\'re doing is awesome!

Starting slowly ais a great way to be able to stcik with it!\\
Do 10 minutes one week, 12-13 minutes the next week, and keep
adding a few minutes every week. If you overdo it, you might get
discouraged and quit. Sounds like you are doing great:)

I have to agree... start out small and slowly increase the length and
intensity of the workout over the months. I had not ridden a bike in years
and had not walked further than a half mile at a time when I was pre op,
but once the surgery was over and I had the surgeons ok, I started out
riding my recumbant bike for 10 minutes every other day and walking 1/2
mile twice a week. After a couple of weeks I upped the bike riding to 20
minutes every couple of days and walking 1 mile twice a week. I have just
made the next leap in increasing my excercise and I now ride my bike for 20
minutes each day and walk 1 mile 3 times a week. By going slow you won\'t
get discouraged and will build up your stamina at a good pace. Good
luck!!!!
