who is walter lindstrom. i was turned down once, have a new insurance now/lifeguard

Anyone out there had surg w/dr meyerowitz care to share the name of your pcp and insurance carrier. Any tips for approval. met dr. meyerowitz, like him, trust him. Anyone have experience with private financing?    — Diana D. (posted on August 12, 1999)

Diane, I have Kaiser( here in northern Calif) and was approved and had open RNY by Dr. Meyerowitz back in Oct.96. I understand that Kaiser is still approving people and using this surgeon. Hope this helps a little. And I wish you good luck! Blessings, Bev.

You can file appeals with your insurance company, which should be your first step, while you investigate whether you should hire Walter to help you. Find out why your insurance denied you - do they have an weight loss surgery exclusion in your policy or were you denied for another reason. Hi, I've reached goal, and although I have some loose skin it is not terrible. My doc told me pre-op that I probably would not require plastic surgery. I reached goal in 7.5 months and lost 100lbs, need to exercise more and have a little loose skin on my tummy and underarm area - it's not terrible and I look great in clothes.
