I use pro whey protein powder by EPN. Their website is e-p-n.com To
me it tastes like cold chocolate (as apposed to hot chocolate). I mix it
with skim milk (I have used water too and it is good either way). It is 18
grams of protein (more if you use the milk) and like 2 carbs. They have
chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. My cousin used the vanilla and
strawberry. I don't like any vanilla shakes I've tried and the strawberry
is too sweet for me. It doesn't get thick either. Nice to have in the a.m.
or before bed. The calories are only 90 if you use water. I don't remember
what with 1 cup of skim I think total cals. would be around 180 or so. Good
luck to you. Let me know what ya try and like/dislike. All taste buds are
different too remember. My friend really likes real meals and I can't
stomach them. To each his own. happy losing ; )

I like the American Whey protein powder available at GNC stores. I always
used to get the Creamy Vanilla because then I could mix it in other things.
But I am hooked on one of the new flavors: Peach Cobbler. YUMMY!!!

I use Real Meals in chocolate and like it. It has 60 rams of protein per
pouch. You can also get samples of it at
www.realmeals.com .

I use ProScore 100 and Pure Whey Stack, both chocolate, both with water
& ice. You can't improve upon perfection, I always say.

I LOVE! Pro-Blend 55's Mocha Cappichino. Yummy! I mix it with water and
ice (tastes much better ice cold).

I use the Optimum Whey chocolate flavor. I mix it with water and ice and
sometimes I throw in a half of a small banana for extra flavor. It is very
good.

I also use Optimum Whey's 100% whey. I use both the double rich chocolate
and the vanilla ice cream. I mix them in 10 ounces of milk (to get
calcium). I don't dump on skim, but I started with Lactose free. However,
my husband, who hasn't had the surgery, drinks them with water. My 7 year
old sometimes drinks the chocolate, which I think speaks well of the
flavor! Good luck! Beth (1/15/03, 222 down 21 lbs)
