I would think, as long as you are able to get in all of your water, your
vitamins, and most of your protein, you'll be fine! Just don't let the
stress make you graze all day long. That's what stress does to me. :) Hang
in there! I know I barely got in my vitamins at that stage, much less
protein and water! It's a lot to get used to, but you'll do it. :)

I went back to a high stress job one week post op, and honestly, I think it
was the best thing for me because it took the focus away from recovery, and
put me back into normal life.

Glenn, I here ya...I work down on Wall Street, so, I understand plus I live
in NYC admist all the terriost junk. I had surgery in August and was out 6
wks b/c my incision leaked. For the first few weeks, I went to bed at like
9pm each night b/c I was exhausted. My suggestions, drink lots of water,
make sure you take your breaks and lunch, take your vitamins and get lots
of sleep. Also, get your exercise, even it it is only taking the steps or
walking at lunch time. Good Luck. Heather (Open RNY 8/15/02 -
