Question:
Are there any support groups in the Chicago area?

Hi there! I am not sure exactly where you are in the Chicago area. Just recently relocated myself and there is a support group up in Belvidere near Rockford at the Bariatric Treatment Center Hospital (am trying to find out time and date). I know that I need to go because I feel like I am 'falling off the wagon' because I don't have a doc here and I don't know anyone else in the area who had surgery. I need support and would love to hear from others in the Chicago/Rockford area. Get in touch with me if you would like.

HI DONNA, VICKI HERE.DR MADURA IS IN THE SAME OFFICE WITH OUR DOCTOR...HE IS THE ASSISTANT PROFESSOR AS OURS IS THE PROFESSOR. HE HOLDS MEETING FOR THIER OFFICE THE 2nd MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH THERE AT RUSH IN THE ACHEDEMIC BUIDING RM.#1098 7:00-9:00PM. PLUS WHEN YOU GO TO YOUR 1ST CONSULT WITH HIM KATHLEEN WILL GIVE YOU A EMAIL ADDY OF A PREVIOUS PATIENT OF HIS THAT IS IN CHARGE OF SETTING UP DR.FRANTZIDES PATIENTS MEETINGS EVERY MONTH OR SO IN DIFFERANT PATIENTS HOME. I HAVE NEVER WENT TO THEM JUST TO THE ONE AT RUSH.HOPE THIS HELPS YOU OUT. :o)
