Question:
it has been over 2 months now since we submitted everything to

It has been over 6 months since all my info was submitted to Medicaid and absolutely no word yet either. I do call my surgeons nurse once a month and she never has any answers for me either. It is so frustrating!!

Hi Debbie (and Theresa), sorry to hear you're having such difficulty getting Medicaid approval. My approval from Illinois Medicaid took less than 2 weeks. With my surgeon this seems to be the average. I think a lot of the reason some surgeon's offices are more successful in getting approvals faster is they have someone in their office who knows how to deal with the state department of Medicaid.
