Question:
Would a blood pressure of 150/100 keep me from having surgery???

I'm not sure, but I would think they would at least want to see that bottom number down a little bit. I'm sure when you saw the surgeon, he had already taken your BP into consideration though. If it was too high, he probably would have said something.

Nope. Mine was high as a matter of fact day of surgery it was 157/107. Its one of the reasons we HAVE the surgery. Mine is purrrrrrfect now!~

No, mine was higher than that. When my doctor sent in my pre-approval high blood pressure was one of my reasons for having the surgery.
