Question:
Do you have trouble getting insurance?

I have a question regarding health insurance post-op. Right now my husband is in the military, so all our health care is covered through the military hospital. Well, next year my husband is getting out of the Army and we won't have that coverage anymore. I think I remember a post about this on here once before. Is it true that companies won't cover you after having WLS? Or do they just charge a higher price? Any input would be greatly appreciated.    — Marlene H. (posted on April 18, 2002)
