Question:
Is there a good substitute for Brown Sugar?
I use Splenda for many things plus in baking. However what can I substitute for Brown Sugar? Thanks. — Danmark (posted on October 28, 2001)

I usw SugarSlim, formerly known as SugarLike. It does everything but rise
bread, NO side flavor. I can use it on hot cereals and it tastes like brown
sugar. Num. I also prefer their granulated over anything else I've used
over the years.

Thanks all for the suggestions. Now I've got to see if I can find any of
these items in ether, P&C, Tops, or Wegmans.

I have used " Sweet ' N Low brown sugar for years; it is excellent !
One box of it is equal to 2 lbs of regular brown sugar.
The directions are on the box.You can cook or bake with it.
For more info about it they have a toll free # to call : 1- 800- 221-1763

You can also check it out @ www.sweetnlow.com
It makes wonderful pumkin pie, candied sweet potatoes and it is great on
