When I was pre-op I spent alot of time going thru everyone's profiles here on AMOS and I found that Lynn Karagory has excellent pics on her website of her scar as it changed post-op. Check it out - http://www.geocities.com/karagory/wls.html Good luck!

Peggy, I looked at all the photos of scars posted here by these very brave people, mine looks similar but is not nearly as long as those in the photos. My scar is 6 inches long top to bottom. Don't let the scar scare you, or interfere wwith your decision. It was plenty sore for about 6-7 days , thank God for percoset , and them it really was much better. Good luck
