Crystal, That would be a personal choice. However, I can tell you that I have tried it and absolutely LOVE it. I particularly like the "packets" mixed with Sweet n Low (creates "synergy" as Dr. Akins says). I have even baked with the granules and it's just "okay". I order it thru their website: www.splenda.com

I am pre-op and trying out many things prior to my surgery...Splenda is one those items....I not only like it, but so does the rest of my family....My daughter even used it in a cheesecake....which was okay. Good Luck, Karan

I have purchased it online at http://www.splenda.com however, Walmart now carries it here locally so I just get it there whenever I want and price is much better.... Splenda is very stable when baking in high temperatures unlike other artificial sweeteners.

I absolutely LOVE Splenda. I have been using it since before my WLS in July of last year. I used to only be able to get it on-line, but now all the stores in my town (Gaylord, Mi.) carry it. Walmart carries the packets in boxes of 200 for $5.97 and the grocery store carries the granules for $3.49 a box. The box is equivalent to a 2 pound box of sugar. It tastes great and I use it everywhere that I used to use sugar. Also, there are more and more companies on the market that are using it in their products. Diet Rite cola, Swiss Miss Lite Hot Chocolate, Ocean Spray Light Cranberry juices, Log Cabin Lite syrup, Act ll Kettle Corn Microwave popcorn, Square Shooters hard candy and Blue Bunny yogurt are just a few of them. I can't wait till they start using it in more things. I can not use Aspertame so this is a big thing for me.

I am a hard core Iced Tea drinker but the thought of drinking Iced Tea without sugar was horrifying!!...LOL...I can handle the decaff-Tea thing but NO SUGAR???...Well i heard about Splenda and gave it a whirl. I tossed out my sweet-n-low and now I use Splenda...Its good stuff!!...I too get mine at Wal-Mart.

Splenda makes iced tea and sugar free kool-aid taste like it has sugar in it. I couldn't live without it. It's a derivitive of sugar but not processed by the body as sugar - so it tastes like sugar with no aftertaste.

I really like Splenda. I was happy when they introduced Nutrasweet because I didn't like Sweet & Low. But Splenda is even better! My husband (who hates the taste of diet products) likes it also.
