Question:
Does anyone know about MD Labs ProBlend protein products? Please share.
Hi. I'm doing research on nutritional products, for both pre-ops and post ops. Does anyone have any experience with MD Labs products? If so, please share as much information as you know about them. Thanks. — ericklein (posted on October 20, 2000)

I have been trying the pro-blend 55 for the pass three weeks. It mixes well
with water, doesn't taste bad. I have like all the flavors I have tried. I
have been having some problems with my pouch since starting on the
pro-blend 55. Dr. thinks its an ulcer, but I don't know if it from the
Pro-blend. I didn't drink it for a few days and I felt better.I drank some
just a while ago and I am starting to feel uncomfortable. I am thinking I
need to go back to my old protein. MD Labs has a web site...mdlabs.com.
Hope this helps you in your research.

I've tried the ProBlend 55 powder as well as the ProBlend Replacement Bars.
The powder does dissolve rapidly in cold water, not requiring a blender; 2
scoops of powder in 8 oz. water = 30 Gms protein; the Swiss Chocolate
flavor is better than other protein supplements I tried, but still not
anything to write home about.:-) The bars have a much better taste; 55
Gms protein per bar. I have found them to be a life-saver on mornings when
I'm running late to work. Their web site is www.mdlabs.com. I've only been
successful once in ordering on-line; other attempts fail to allow final
completion of the check-out process. They do have a customer service
number for e-mail correspondence, but I have never received a reply when
inquiring about the difficulty in completing orders for the product. I
liked the product, but at this point am not sure it's worth the frustration
dealing with this company.

I've been using PB55 for a couple of years now and am very happy with it.
Chocolate is my favorite, but I also use the vanilla to mix with frozen
strawberry for a *shake* or with other flavors for a change of pace.
It mixes easily and stays mixed. No lumps or nasty stuff settling to the
bottom of
the glass.
