Question:
Any suggestions on my Psyche Evaluation?

Anything you can suggest will be appreciated. Any websites I can look up? What can I expect from Dr. What does doctor expect from me? Are there any tests involved? Thanks bunches for your help.    — Lillian G. (posted on July 7, 2000)

I had to take a psych eval also. It was very time consuming, about 1/2 a day. I believe the first part was an IQ Test, then there were two computerized test totaling about 575 or so questions. They are just true/false and example would be: Do you hear voices? Do you contemplate suicide? Hope that this helps you.

I hope you mean pre-op. Tests vary. Mine took about an hour. No intelligence or MMPI (personality test)test either. He just wanted to know my diet history, family history of obesity/other medical problems. Don't sweat the psych stuff. Among other things, I was a juvenile delinquent, and my mother killed herself. On the first anniversery of her death I went to the cemetery and pounded a wooden stake into the ground over her grave to make sure she stayed there... and I passed with flying colors.
