Question:
compare insurances
My BMI is 35 and have 2 co-morbids; sleep apnea and depression. I got my ins. blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO just for this operation. my ins. needs 3 co-morbids. I will emphasize the Planter's heel and stress incontinence and sore knees that I have. I want to know how to specifically compare ins. companies as far as what they each look for as far as BMI's and co-morbidities and histories etc. I want get this operation. If I only knew know which ins. co. I've asked so many questions and the few responses that I've gotten have been great. You've got an ins. database. Someone out there knows how to compare operation requirements, do ins. research for the different ins. companies!!I have no problem getting another or changing my insurance company. I really need help! Please write back. I'm really frustrated. Katherine :-) so few responses. ins. most likely. — Katherine N. (posted on February 27, 2000)

I have Anthem BC/BS and they require that you have an, "imediate life
threatening condition."

Stress incontinence is a co-morbidity of obesity. Some
others you might want to know about are cardiac rhythm
disturbances (mine was caused from the sleep apnea
destroying my heart), high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol,
gallbladder disease (one I had for years but did not know
what it was until my surgeon found gallstones in my gall
bladder), respiratory insufficiency.
