Question:
Although I am not a drinker per say, can I occassionaly have a glass of wine?

Yes of course you can. Recently my husband and I celebrated our
anniversary. We had a bottle of champagne, and I indulged. I am not a
drinker per say either, but did enjoy what I had. The alcohol may hit you
faster than it used to but I just sipped it slowly and was fine.

Wine = sugar. Wine probably won't hurt you, though very little will make
you goofy. But it IS sugar. Consider as helpful to your wt loss as a hot
fudge sundae, with extra fudge and whipped cream.

I can drink occasionally ... but check with your doctor! we are all
different.

I didn't have my first drink until I was about 8 months
post-op, but I do have an occasional alcoholic beverage now
with no problems whatsoever.
