Congratulations on your surgery being scheduled. There is a great web site
support group of some really nice people. They are all pre-op, like
ourselves, and post-op. There's a wealth of knowledge to find there with
all their experiences. I have found them most supportive.

Congratulations, that is so great! I anticipated the very, very worst I
have ever felt in my life, and I honestly think this helped because it was
like, "oh this wasn't bad at all." Make sure to make yourself
walk around even the first day at the hospital and take advantage of all
the hospital pampering. I also started taking Tums (not only for
Calcium)the second day I got home from the hospital. I honestly feel like
it helped with digestion and upset stomach because I NEVER got sick. Good
Luck

I'm also pre-op, due for surgery 4th October. Also nervous :) It would
seem though, that weight loss surgery is the best solution for those of us
who are morbidly obese. So I guess it is worth all the nerves and
worrying. If the surgery makes us healthier then it is all worth while.
